Based on the data from the first two weeks of the ChristmasQ challenge, we can draw some conclusions about when people like to work out at home. The most popular time of day is between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m., and Sunday is the most popular day of the week.
While viewing times historically tend to be distributed more evenly between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m., among participants in the JõuluQ Energy Challenge, the evening hours between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. are clearly dominant. The most popular hour is between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., when 12% of participants do their daily workout.
An even greater difference between the challenge and normal conditions becomes apparent when we look at workout activity by day of the week. During the challenge, Sunday is the most popular day, accounting for as much as 17.5% of views, while at other times, Sunday—along with Saturday—ranks at the bottom of the list with about 10% of views, and the most popular workout day is actually Tuesday, accounting for 19% of the week’s workouts. It turns out that our participants are just like good students who work the hardest during exam season. After all, Sunday is the day when the weekly leaderboard is finalized, and that’s when many people have to prove, with their final workouts, that their team has successfully met the week’s goal.
