The first challenge organized by FitQ ended on a high note. In the end, 48 of the 193 participants who started the challenge provided us with feedback at the end of the challenge. On average, respondents rated their fitness level at 4.67/10 at the start of the challenge and as high as 7.13 at the end. The difference in scores was 2.46 points—or 52% of the initial rating—which means that those who successfully completed the challenge rated their physical fitness as essentially 50% better.
We also asked how satisfied the participants were with their performance in the challenge, and the respondents felt they had done very well. The average self-rating was as high as 7.88. Of course, it’s possible that the participants who ultimately did not respond might not have given themselves such a high rating.
Since the challenge was free for participants, but the coaches and organizers put in a lot of work, we also asked what the participants thought a fair price for the challenge might be. Three respondents were convinced that they would not participate in the challenge if they had to pay. On average, participants suggested a fair price of €18 per person, which—to the organizers’ delight—is roughly the same amount we envision a FitQ monthly subscription might cost (currently €14.99).
We also asked for ideas about new challenges, and participants suggested keywords like “step counts” and “kilometers,” mentioning the Friendship Day and Beach Body challenges, as well as, of course, the New Year. Quite a few thought that we could launch a new challenge right away in the new year, and we’ll let you in on a little secret: there are several fun challenges coming up in the new year. Keep your eyes peeled and come join us!
The ChristmasQ Energy Challenge was a sports challenge for teams of 2–7 members, with the goal of each team collectively burning the equivalent of 5 kWh of electrical energy through exercise each week. A total of 48 teams registered for the challenge, and 5 of them completed it with the maximum possible points: Naiskodukaitse, SaleValentina, IsverSusver, 5K, and TERVISEKS. The challenge was sponsored by Stebby, Tradehouse, Beautiful Me, Tervis Pluss, and Fitlap.
We also offered an extra-special prize—a Garmin Forerunner 55 smartwatch—to be won in a drawing among all respondents to the four-week survey. This time, the winner of the watch was respondent number 35 from the fourth week—the user whose email address begins with liina.grete@. We’ll be contacting the winner!
